Hello my dear hivers! This is a continuation of my previous blog, and it's all about us returning to the covered court where the people under probation were.
On my way there, I saw some of my fellow interns. They were riding in a vehicle and yelled, "Hi mega!" I was surprised because they were riding instead of walking.
Anyway, before I went back to the court, I bought some warm water to stay hydrated after our tree planting. Luckily, there was a vendor right across from the covered court.
When I got to the covered court, there was some boiled banana. It was for everyone, and aside from the bananas, there was also a shrimp paste dip. I just took one banana and didn't take the dip.
After grabbing the cooked banana, I went to the stage on the side to place my bag and pick off the weeds that had stuck to my jeans because we were going to lead a Zumba session. While the probation officer was giving a speech in front, my co-interns and I took the chance to go to the barangay hall to cool off for a bit. A few minutes later, the officer called us because we were supposed to introduce ourselves, since it was the first time we were meeting these people under the program. After we all introduced ourselves individually, we did Zumba and then proceeded with the next part of the program.
An hour later, the program was over, and we all got into a vehicle to leave. Earlier, I had to ride in an officer's car to go here, but now I was on barangay vehicle. We were at the back of the car, and it was good because it was not raining. It was also a fun ride because even if it was bad for all of us because we were slightly struggling a little but still we survived.
Then a few minutes past by and I was really surprised when the driver stopped. I thought we were going to return to the office, but to my surprise, we were taken to the Barangay Captain's house for lunch, which was not mentioned, or maybe it was mentioned, but I just didn't hear it. So yeah, I'll give you a complete experience at the place of the Barangay Captain's house in my next blog.
