"Through the Storm: Holding On to Hope and Home"

Good day hivers! It's been a week before I published my blog today because of the signal;( How are you?  Let's start! As the dark clouds gather and the winds start to pick up.How are you everyone I hope your okay, especially to those who currently experiencing this super typhoon. Hello my dear hivers I would like to share how we face this calamity, what we do during this struggles. Experiencing this kind of super typhoon is extremely frightening and overwhelming.Here in Las Piñas City there's a lot people are in evacuation center because of the Rizal River overflowed.  The icy winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding can be so traumatizing—I hope everyone was safe. Let's pray together to stop these calamity that we're currently facing, theres a lot of people suffering especially those homeless person or even animals out there shivering in the coldness of atmosphere,soaked wet by nonstop heavy raindrops.   It's been a week ever since my sister's class suspended but at the same time she keep herself busy studying, making projects, they are not online classes nor modular but I dunno why she have a lot of things to do maybe because she's a completing student. I'm very impressed that she's staying motivated and productive despite the class suspension! she's always stay focused on getting everything done. While my mother prepare porridge for us so we could warm our feeling from this very freezing cold days. The wonderful fragrance of freshly cooked porridge spread through the air. Me and my sisters immediately go to kitchen and I saw my mom cooked. With every mouthful of porridge cooked by my mother, I feel the warmth of her love that takes away all the coldness from my body. For me It's not just a meal— but a proof of my mother's love and care for me and to our family, this meal brings us joy and warmth my heart. When we were all together at the table, we started eating while chatting, laughing, etc. The heavy rain was no obstacle for the whole family to eat together. Even if it rains, the love of a family will not be shaken. As we finished our meal, the warmth lingered, a comforting feeling that stayed with me, a reminder of the love and care that went into every spoonful, every movement, and every moment spent together as a family. the warmth of the porridge and our mother's love filled our hearts. After we ate, my sister was assigned to wash the dishes. In that moment, the simple act of sharing a warm meal became a wonderful memory. After eating I slept so I could regain my strength since I dont have a work–its been 3 days. I thought if the classes is suspended my work will be suspended too awh kidding HAHHA by the way it's a long weekend suspension.  A few hours later, I was surprised when someone texted me. It's my boss, the boss said we had work today, so I quickly got ready I prepare my needs before leaving the house.   Dad was also leaving to ride his tricycle, so I decided to went with him. When we got on the tricycle, my dad and I left immediately because I might be late. The weather was cold so I wore long clothes. While running, my mind kept thinking that even if it rained or there was a storm, work would still go on. "Bagyo lang yan AKO nato" HAHAHAH. Sometimes I worry about him too because the signal is gone, sometimes because of the storm we can't even update each other, that's why we're always finding ways to talk. They say we should never give up, no matter what comes our way, we can overcome it.   It rained heavily for a few days, then we didn't open for three days, but the next day we tried, even though only a few of us went in, we were able to do many things because the others were flooded, thank God, ours wasn't. It's cold outside, I don't feel well but I still have responsibilities to do so we shouldn't give up. If you always believe and have faith in the Lord God, he will never abandon you, he will always be by your side when you need him.
