Hello my dear hivers! Hello to this beautiful @hiveph community! This is me again, "LJ" to share another lovely life story to y'all.
This time, I want to share our experience attending the opening of the sportsfest at my husband’s company. It was such a lively and exciting day, filled with fun activities, performances, and games that brought everyone together. We woke up early that morning to prepare since the event would be held at the ALDP Montevista Covered Court. My husband was one of the performers, so he needed to be there ahead of time, and of course, my son and I came along to support him.
When we arrived at the covered court, the place was already buzzing with energy. Employees, families, and friends were gathered, wearing their team shirts and cheering for their groups. The sportfest atmosphere was really fun! The colorful banners, upbeat music, and everyone in high spirits. Around 8:00 a.m., the opening program officially started. There were some speeches from the company heads to welcome everyone, followed by the parade of teams. It was nice to see how everyone showed their team spirit and camaraderie.
The highlight of the opening program, at least for me was when my husband and his group performed a dance number. They practiced for days, and it was great to finally see the result of their hard work. Their performance was energetic and entertaining, and I could tell how proud my son watching his father dance confidently on stage. We cheered and clapped the whole time, and it made the moment even more memorable.
After the program, the games officially began. The first sport was badminton, followed by basketball. We found a good spot where we could sit and watch the matches. The players were very competitive, but you could still feel the sense of sportmanship and fun. My son was especially interested in the badminton games since he plays that sport too! He even pointed out some moves he recognized from his own training.
After a while, we started feeling hungry. Luckily, we brought some baked mac and brownies with us. We decided to take a little break while still watching the ongoing badminton match. My husband and son enjoyed the snacks they had. And it turned into a cozy littl family moment in the middle of all the cheering and laughter around us. It’s always nice to just sit together and enjoy simple moments like that.
By around lunchtime, we decided to head home since my husband’s part in the program was done and we were already getting tired. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable day. It’s always nice to be part of events like this where families can come together, support each other, and enjoy a day filled with teamwork and joy. I am really proud of my husband for performing and representing his team so well. Days like this remind me how important it is to celebrate small achievements and simply enjoy being together as family.
