Unity in Action: A Day of Service and Collaboration

Good day, dearest Hivers! I miss being a child, as I notice children's excitement when the pancakes are on their plates. Yes! They eat pancakes during their recess time. And since I felt hungry when I saw it at that moment , I took a piece of pancake from my sibling's plate. It was just a small piece because I wanted to taste it too 😅. She didn't complain, as she is also generous. I can reflect on this moment from when I studied at daycare, and my grandmother was always with me. And now, I'm the one taking care of my sibling, as she is studying daycare.  Each student has representative guardians to do the cooking and the cleaning. As what was included in the meeting before, the teacher divided the guardians into five and reminded them to always remember when their schedule arrived. The feeding was also divided into two categories. The first task was cooking, and the second is distribution of biscuits. Since the schedule now was for cooking, the representatives did their job and began preparing a hearty meal for the children.    While the guardians were making pancakes, the students were also writing as their teacher instructed. Time flew by so fast until the students were done and waited for the pancakes. It was perfect timing as the guardians had finished cooking, and started distributing them. What's even more beautiful is the cooperation between the guardians even though they are not included in the schedule. You can really see the unity of the parents, a beautiful reminder that when we help each other , we can create something truly wonderful for the children.  As the students received their pancakes, their teacher took a photo of them. It's really hard to get the children's attention , especially since they're so eager to eat. We tell the children to look first, but some of them really don't listen. But we know that's just how children are, so we just have to understand. However, the teacher just captured a photo of them while eating.    The kids were quietly eating , and it couldn't be denied how much they wanted it, since they ate it very quickly. Oh, hello to my sister, who wasn't afraid to have her photo taken, unlike me 😅. This was also when I took a piece of pancake without asking her permission to see her reaction. As I expected, she didn't complain. Instead, she gave me more 🤗. I'm always proud of her attitude like this , not her stubborn side, kidding!  And also about the pancakes? They tasted really good! There's something about making them together, and seeing the students enjoy eating that made them taste even better. It was the perfect way to start a day full of unity and service . Watching their faces light up as they savored those pancakes gave us all the motivation we needed for the day ahead. With happy bellies and full hearts , we started on our day of service.   Finally, they're done eating and it's time to wash the dishes. At this point, we cleaned the plates individually as the teacher instructed. This was for everyone to take responsibility and help, proving that even the simplest act can instill a sense of duty and contribution in these young minds. It showed them that helping out is crucial, no matter how small the task. And that's the spirit of collaboration.
