Hey there, Hivers!
It's Mooon, I'm back with some experiences to share with you all, and that's my topic for today's blog.
This is my first long ride with my family, and I'm a little sleepy because I still had a duty before our ride, so I need a lot of caffeine to stay awake.
I'm with Lil Sis, brother-in-law, and his daughter. We drove almost 6 km to get there, and it's a 5-hour drive if we don't have any stops along the way; however, we were thirsty and starving along the way We need to stop to eat and recharge, so it takes us 6 hours.
Anyway, we visited Nueva Ecija to celebrate a simple family reunion, and it also marked the graduation of my first Niece in college. She was expecting us to come.
These are my nephews and niece, the oldest one was Diana, she's the first one among them who finished college, they're so adorable! Time flies so fast 🥺
We decided to visit the Bongabon River, which is part of Nueva Ecija, and there were a lot of visitors that day
There are a lot of cottages that you can rent day tour or overnight, and it only costs you 500PHP, good for 8-10 pax. We rented 2 cottages cause that time we were around 15.
The cottage looks good, plus there's an instant karaoke machine that we can use.
Since we have enough food, I just grilled some bangus fish cause my Mother was craving for this.
Those Kiddos are having a good time; they do enjoy the splash of water, and it was my first time seeing them bond together. What a wholesome moment, I realized something, maybe I need to start my own family as well. LOL I need to make a move now, but how could I do that? I can't even flirt. HAHAHA, but for sure it will come. There's a right time for everything, right? Well, enough with my sentiments gonna explore the place.
The water is exceptionally clear, providing a beautiful view, though it is quite cold!
The view is breathtaking at first glance. It brings to mind the thrilling scenes from the American movie "Kong." The sheer beauty and grandeur of the landscape left me in awe. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder and amazement at the sight before me.
I do appreciate this kind of view, and always thankful to be alive to witness such amazing scenery from Nature.
We packed up around 3 PM and were going back to Manila.
I have a lot of realizations at our family reunion, spending time with them makes our bond stronger than before, gonna treasure them forever :)
That's it for me, thank you, everyone.
Happy weekend! 🤙
