Today I bring you a new artwork, I wanted to make a Decorative Pendant inspired by the beautiful staff that has in his hands the character of the letter, Forked Tongue in the quilling technique.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers y a la querida comunidad de artistas #Jewelry, como siempre muy complacida y emocionada de encontrarme por acá nuevamente, mostrándole mi trabajo hecho con mucho amor y especialmente para ustedes.

Un saludo para la comunidad de Splinterlands, y todos los que hacen vida por allí, estoy por acá para unirme al reto Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un Colgante Decorativo inspirado en bello báculo que tiene en sus manos el personaje de la carta, Forked Tongue en la técnica de quilling.

Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.

Comencemos:😃

To make this work I previously cut some strips of white cardboard with a guillotine to cut paper.

• I took strips of 3 mm wide and in a cone to mold circles I rolled it, before reaching the end I placed a jewelery ring, finished rolling, sealed with extra strong white glue and removed from the cone.
  
• Continue making 2 small circles closed with tape 1mm wide, these circles molded them in a template in the measure number 10 mm, remove from the template, I applied glue on the inside to prevent them from deforming, then I joined them with a piece of white tape to form a small sphere.
  
• I took the ring, the sphere, a wooden stick and 2 wooden beads, I applied gold colored paint, the sphere once it was dry I applied some pearl colored paint.

Para realizar este trabajo previamente corté algunas tiras de una cartulina blanca, con una guillotina para cortar papel.

• Tomé tiras de 3 mm de ancho y en un cono para moldear círculos enrollé la misma, antes de llegar al final coloqué una argolla de bisutería terminé de enrollar, selle con pega blanca extra fuerte y saqué del cono.
• Continúe realizando 2 pequeños círculos cerrados con cinta de 1mm de ancho, estos círculos los moldee en una plantilla en la medida número 10 mm, saque de la plantilla, apliqué pega en su parte interna para evitar que los mismos se deformen, luego los uní con un trozo de cinta blanca para formar una pequeña esfera.
• Tomé el aro, la esfera, un palillo de madera y 2 perlas de madera, les apliqué pintura color oro, la esfera una vez que estaba seca le apliqué un poco de pintura color perlado.

• I proceeded to cut the rim very carefully with a scissors, then applied some bronze colored paint.
  
• At this point I assembled all the pieces to form the staff. Decoré colocándole algunos cristales a la esfera del medio.
  
• Finally I proceeded to make a small pendant with fine black Chinese thread, its respective knot cover, and some pearls that I painted previously assembled everything making some simple knots and hooking the staff.

- In this way we have ready this decorative pendant that I made, inspired by the character of the letter "Forked Tongue ".

• Procedí a cortar el aro con mucho cuidado con una tijera, luego le apliqué un poco de pintura color bronce.
• En este punto ensamble todas las piezas para formar el báculo. Decoré colocándole algunos cristales a la esfera del medio.
• Para finalizar procedí a realizar un pequeño colgante con hilo chino negro fino, su respectivo tapa nudos, y algunas perlas que pinte previamente ensamble todo realizando algunos nudos simples y enganche del báculo.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo que elabore, inspirado en el personaje de la carta "Forked Tongue".
