Saludos, hivers amantes del crochet. Ya me hacía falta crear algo nuevo, así que después de un receso creativo me costó elegir qué hacer debido a que tengo varios proyectos pendientes, por lo que elegí retomar mis labores con las agujas e hilos con un mini proyecto muy lindo, tierno y fácil de crear.

Greetings, crochet-loving hivers. I was longing to create something new, so after a creative break, I struggled to decide what to do with several pending projects. So I decided to get back to my needle and thread work with a cute, sweet, and easy-to-make mini project.

Se trata de una mini muñeca que representa una fruta, la fresa. Mi muñeca viste un traje completo de fresa, desde el gorro hasta el vestido, sin zapatos, porque estos personajes tienen relación con la naturaleza, por lo menos lo que imaginé en mi mente; por lo que se muestra descalza y creo que eso la hace única.

This is a mini doll that represents a fruit, the strawberry. My doll is wearing a complete strawberry outfit, from the hat to the dress, without shoes, because these characters are related to nature, at least what I imagined in my mind; so she is shown barefoot, and I think that makes her unique.

Este proyecto está enfocado en la técnica del amigurumi, empleando puntos bajos, cadenetas, punto medio alto, punto alto, deslizado y picot. Es un trabajo que requiere de concentración y mucha paciencia, dado que la pieza es pequeña, tiene una altura aproximada a los 10 centímetros.

This project focuses on the amigurumi technique, using single crochet, chain stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, and picot stitch. It's a project that requires concentration and a lot of patience, given the small piece, approximately 10 centimeters tall.

Todo proyecto deja una anécdota o, por lo menos, a mí casi siempre me sucede; esta vez fueron las fotos. Me fallo el teléfono y la cámara no funcionaba cuando lo hizo capturo imágenes deficientes y de tanto revisar el dispositivo comenzó a funcionar bien, nunca antes me había sucedido, siempre me pasa que me distraigo y hago puntos de más, menos... y tengo que desbaratar, pero bueno al final todo funciono; les cuento esto porque sé de muchas chicas que se dan por vencidas cuando les suceden situaciones adversas, no es el fin del mundo todo tiene su dificultad, pero también su recompensa, por lo que espero les agrade mi trabajo.

Every project leaves an anecdote, or at least it almost always happens to me; this time it was the photos. My phone failed and the camera wasn't working. When it did, I captured poor images, and after checking the device so much, it started working fine. It had never happened to me before. I always get distracted and make more points, less points... and I have to undo them, but well, in the end everything worked out. I'm telling you this because I know many girls who give up when adverse situations happen to them. It's not the end of the world; everything has its difficulties, but also its rewards, so I hope you like my work.

Para unir ambas piernas, lo primero es continuar con el hilo y hacer una cadeneta que servirá de enlace para ambas piernas, así que la primera vuelta será de 12 puntos, tomando en cuenta que cada pierna tiene 5 puntos más el adicional de la unión.

Con ayuda de la aguja lanera, coser ambas piezas del gorro

Using the wool needle, sew both pieces of the hat together.

Con el hilo amarillo, hacer pequeñas puntadas en la parte roja del gorro para simular las semillas de la fresa, lo mismo se hace en el vestido.

With the yellow thread, make small stitches on the red part of the hat to simulate the strawberry seeds, and do the same on the dress.

Coser los brazos en los laterales del vestido y luego colocar el cuello atando en la parte trasera.

Sew the arms to the sides of the dress and then attach the collar by tying it at the back.

Coser el cabello a la cabeza con ayuda de la aguja lanera e hilo

Sew the hair to the head with the help of the wool needle and thread

Colocar el gorro a la cabeza, colocar los ojos con hilo negro; en mi caso realicé dos puntadas rectas y así terminamos la muñeca fresita

Place the hat on the head, add the eyes with black thread; in my case I made two straight stitches and that's how we finished the strawberry doll.
