Hello Hive
School has just resumed and most parents are really running around to get school items for their children. My baby is still at home as I would be needing about $100 to sort her school books and fees for resumption.
My nephew here was able to resume school after my sister was able to settled his own bills. The hardest part of resuming a new school year is that you have to purchase new school uniforms and books. My sister was able to get the books and the school uniforms is all that is left.
While we are contemplating on purchasing fabrics from the market for me to sew his uniforms I decided to rework his sport wears.
Wednesday are sport days in school and nephew is already up and ready. The difficult part of writing this blog is getting Ayomiku' to stay still for a shot. He is too playful and has insisted on taking his home football to school today.
This picture is part of me chasing Ayo around for a shot 🤣🤣🤣
His uniform have outgrown him but he can still use his sport wears for one more session but not without me reworking it.
I had to removed the torn bias strip from the short
I was lucky to get a matching bias strip at home which I then sewed it around the hem of his short
I stitched up all the torn parts of the short and then the yellow sport wear that needs stitching in all the sheared parts too
I think it's very easy for Ayo's uniforms to get thorn and all that , my baby is too playful nevertheless I'm just glad that he isn't a full child despite the too much play.
Having a boy who is playful and dull will be worrisome. I had to do all of these amendments before stepping out this morning and Ayo is already in school with his football. He wouldn't have made it go school without the sport wears this morning. I'm sure you won't wanna see how dirty he will be by the time he comes back. I hope that parents will find it easy to settle their children in school this season against all the financial challenges out here.
