Hello, community greetings Here is summer but not warm temperature like it was in June. But still, we have to take a chance to enjoy the summer. Summer is very short here in Norway. A few days before I made yogurt at home using organic milk which waiting in the refrigerator. I bought a mango from my international grocery shop. It was a South Asia that possibly looked like the Philippines. But because of the weather, the lassi program is postponed. waiting for a good day for Lassi. After waiting a few days finally the sun was shining temperature is not so hot but suitable for Lassi and I planned to make lassi, this recipe I would like to share with you, this tutorial of Original traditional Lassi.
Ingredients: for two glasses of lassi.
1.5 cups thick yogurt 350 ml
1 mango pulp from fresh mango saving 2 tbsp. small pieces saved for garnish
1/2 cup mango puree.
1-2 tbsp. sugar
1-2 pinches of salt
3-4 cardamoms
few saffron threads
some chopped almonds and pistachio
150 ml water.
When you have homemade thick yogurt the Lassi taste is original. one day I will post recipe for how to make yogurt at home.
when I cut mango there was lots of waste it was old. I saved 2 tbsp. for garnish and rest I put in lassi was not so much so I had to open the Alphonso mango pulp
I used only 1/2 cup of this pulp.
pouring yogurt into a mixer jar. sugar and salt.
mango puree. and water.
Blended for 2 minutes.to get this type of mixture. A halfway lassi is done.
Crushed cardamoms.
Added in Lassi.
Soak saffron in 1 tsp milk.
We have chopped almond and pistachio small mango bits, and saffron milk.
Poured lassi in glass.
Put saffron milk and a few threads of saffron.
garnished with chopped nuts and mango chunks.
The same way I prepared other glass.
