Good morning dear community, today we are going to prepare a homemade Mint Liqueur 😱, to make these flavored liqueurs that are later used as a combination for cocktails, their basis is to use neutral liquor or vodka, in particular, use cachaça as a base liqueur and To give it its green color, I used artificial coloring because this liquor in maceration will have a lighter color, ingredients are easy to get, there is no complication for its process, it is a refreshing drink and its origins are in Finland and it is one of the most sold in the world.

We select a glass container with a lid where we are going to add the thirty mint leaves, the brandy and the five anise stars, we cover it and take it to a dark and cool place, leaving it for at least ten days. In my case I left it steeping for fifteen days. , during those days you can go through and shake it a little at least three times in the span of those ten days.
After ten days we began to prepare the liquor, starting with the sugar syrup, I also make it homemade to save cost but they also sell it, you can simply choose to buy it or make it, we simply take two glasses, in one we place sugar and in the other water Equal portions, important the measurements must be the same, we heat the water and when it is effervescent we add it to the glass with sugar and mix until it reaches a thick consistency or the sugar dissolves completely.
We let the syrup cool and added the green food coloring, I remind you that it is optional.
Now we take out the container that we had mashing and filter it, you must use a coffee or cloth filter so that there are no residues in the liquid.
Now we are going to mix the syrup with the processed liquor, this should be in equal quantities in a larger jug.
Finally, we mix well and transfer it to the bottle where we are going to present it.
