It's dragon fruit season and the place I live might not be in the countryside but there are still some neighbors who have spacious backyard. They could plant whatever they like like mentioned above. Here per kilo would only cost Php 60-80 ($ value in Peso is 58.06) Not only that but one of my brother-in-law had a good harvest and would share it with everyone. So I was thinking, since my son loves to taste whatever food I had, why not make a smoothie? A healthy and okay to drink at his age.
He was always curious and wanted to tag along wherever and whatever I am doing. Good thing he was okay sitting on his dining chair while I was preparing.
The ingredients.

Luckily all the ingredients were available at home. - Banana - Dragon fruit - Yogurt since I don't have fresh milk.

This is one of my son's favorite so I always made sure we had at home.
I sliced it enough to fit in my portable blender. Caleb was so excited that he was trying to have some already.

He could already pronounce it, not the whole word but nana.

Dragon fruit, yes I am using a fresh one.

Though I only used the half since it is good in fiber and I will be adding yogurt.

There was no plain yogurt as it was always out of stock in convenience stores. It's mixed berries flavored and hoping to blend well.
Blend blend blend adding cube ice and here is the dragon fruit banana smoothie.
I transfer it in a plastic cup rather than in a glass so it would be safe to hold by my toddler.

Of course he was the one who had the first sip!

Do you think he loves it? 😆
