Actually, when I made this ice, I was still a bit awkward with the taste of aloe vera, which I still couldn't accept its presence in my mouth. I've known aloe vera for quite a long time, but it's only used for hair so it doesn't fall out and doesn't get dandruff. However, lately many have suggested the use of aloe vera for consumption. Besides it tastes good, consuming aloe vera also makes our stomach comfortable because aloe vera is very good for people with stomach acid and I also feel that and what makes me even more happy is there is no need to bother buying aloe vera because in my yard there is aloe vera which I am currently cultivating for my daily consumption.
And this afternoon because the rain that came continuously broke my aloe vera and it turned out that two branches were broken, while I used this aloe vera for my hair last night, and instead of this aloe vera I threw it away, I decided to make an aloe vera drink. which is inspired by Es Campur, a drink that from childhood until now is still very well known in Indonesia. and to make this aloe vera ice I need some ingredients which are in my cupboard.
And the ingredients I need to make this aloe vera ice are:
1. 2 stalks of aloe vera. (if the aloe vera you have is large, then you only need to use one frond, I use 2 fronds because my aloe vera is small and because these 2 fronds are broken)
2. 1 pack of 65 ML thick coconut milk (I will mix one pack of instant coconut milk with 1 glass of water so it's not too thick)
3. 50 grams of palm sugar
4. 1 glass of water
How to make :
1. Clean the aloe vera and take the slime then wash it again until it is clean then place it in the pot
2. Mix instant coconut milk and one glass of water into the pot containing the aloe vera earlier
3. After that, cook until boiling, after boiling remove and cool.
4. Waiting for it to cool, I melted the palm sugar by steaming it so that the palm sugar has a thick consistency later.
5. After the palm sugar has melted, all I have to do is mix it into the aloe vera and add enough ice cubes.
6. Done.
