Wealth significantly influences people's lifestyles by providing access to better housing, healthcare, education, leisure activities, travel opportunities, and overall quality of life. There are many examples but I never seen how money changes people perspective towards life. As wealth comes to you, the lifestyle will changes significantly. I have heard of this line many a times, few days ago I saw how people start prefering more expensive items in their life. More of these items are luxuries show off things which only a wealthie lerson afford. As I went to meet one of my friend, i was in awe with his change life style, especially the way he docor his home.
"Conspicuous consumption" is an economics words which signifies that people will buy luxury goods to signal their financial status. Luxury is directly linked to money because luxury items are typically high-priced goods that are considered non-essential but desirable, meaning that people with greater wealth are more likely to purchase them, essentially "following" the availability of money to acquire such items. My friend owns a duplex apartment in a high rise society. They have bigger rooms and high living standard, what amazes me was their spending on interrior decoration. There are many items on display, from chandeliers to vase to kitchenware, which were unique and looked expensive.
People always like to decorate their home interiors because it allows them to express their personal style, create a comfortable and inviting space, boost their mood, and essentially transform a house into a home that reflects their unique tastes, interests, and memories, contributing to a sense of belonging and well-being. I am not regular to such luxurious lifestyle. Belonging to a middle class we do not have such expensive taste, but looking at some of the displayed items, they appears to be quite exquisite and adding luxuries vibes to the place.
With each item I am falling in awe of the place but at the same time, I was wondering what is the use of all these decorable items. While they were expensive, some of them does not appears to be of any use. While the chandeliers and a wall decor make sense to add beauty to the wall and ceiling, there are certain items on display at their living room, which is out of sense. These items does show the taste of money is quite unique and people are ready to spend enough to make their living environment as good as possible.

Decor acts as a visual representation of one's personality, allowing them to showcase their interests and preferences through color choices, furniture styles, and artwork. They also add as their status symbol in the society. Thoughtful decor can create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, influencing mood and promoting a sense of calmness. A well-decorated home can make guests feel welcome and comfortable. But not in my case, I was feeling quite out of the real world. People like me alwsys gets wary of touching these items.
Many studies show that the design of a living space can significantly impact mood and mental well-being. I usually used to see personal items or family photos hanging on the walls or kept at the tables. But everything is unique and awesome. May be the personal items belongs to their sleeping room, where I did not go. But I moved towards the kitchen. The kitchen interrior too was well equipped with many kitchenware, which were exclusively place to reflect the wealth. It was fantastically design. Many items were displayed at the cupboard or kept outside show the lavishness of the place.
Not sure, if these items were made to be used or not, but keeping them openly does make an elite statement of my friends personality. I doubt if I ever own such things in real. Even if would spend such amountnon owning these items. May be mentality are constrained only to minimlaist living, but those who can afford cam showcase them with full authority. This is only one such example of a person. There are so many wealthy person out in our society who might posses items much precious than these.
I added countless memories to place. And hope to return to the place sometimes later. My friends lives in USA and occasional visit his home. It was worth a visit to experince some wealthy lifestyle.
