My beloved Venezuela is a land with a big heart, full of smiling, forward-thinking people. It is a land of music, poetry, and love. With a tropical rhythm in its veins and beautiful voices that represent us. The essence of Venezuelans cannot be found anywhere else in the world; we are friendly and kind. Generations come and go, but our love for our land never fades. We move forward with faith and hope in the future. To talk about Venezuela is to talk about love, sports, music, queens, beauty, art, cinema, and many other things. We are a party-loving people; it's in our veins. I am Venezuelan through and through, and my journey through music began when I was in high school. In my second year, I had friends with a mini stereo system who lived near the high school, and in our free time we would go over to enjoy the music. That's when my love for music began. I learned to dance salsa, Dominican merengue, pasodoble, and to kill cockroaches with wachi wachi. The whole class participated, and we looked for time to distract ourselves. These are unforgettable memories of a beautiful time, songs and voices that remain etched in my mind. In the 70s, 80s, and 90s, some rock and pop bands, solo artists, and groups reached the top of the music charts in Venezuela and then launched themselves abroad. Some were successful, and others were not. Perhaps it was an advertising campaign to launch and promote soap operas. On this musical journey, I have enjoyed the music of Venezuelan groups and bands that have achieved success. Among them: Banda Áditus, Grupo Pentágono, Témpano, Rapsodia, Sentimiento muerto, Desorden Público. Also soloists such as: Ilan Chester, Yordano, Franco De Vita, Carlos Mata, Guillermo Dávila, Vytas Brenner, Ricardo Montaner, among others. Some are purebred Venezuelans and others started a new life with their families and were welcomed with love in our country. On this occasion, to participate in #TreeTuneTuesday by @ablaze, I bring you music made in Venezuela and from my youth, from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. **Let the music play!**

Hablar de Venezuela, es hablar de amor, del deporte, de la música, de reinas, de bellezas, de arte, de cine y muchas otras cosas más. Somos un pueblo rumbero, lo llevamos en las venas. Soy venezolana de pura cepa y desde que estudiaba educación media, comenzó mi tránsito por la música. En el segundo año, tenía amigos con miniteca, vivían cerca del liceo y en las horas libres nos íbamos a disfrutar de música. Desde esa época nace mi afición por la música. Aprendí a bailar salsa, merengues dominicanos, pasodobles y a matar cucarachas con los wachi wachi. Todo el salón de clases participaba y buscábamos un tiempo para distraernos. Son recuerdos inolvidables de una linda época, canciones y voces que quedaron grabadas en mi mente. En los años 70, 80 y 90, algunas de bandas rock o de música pop, solistas y grupos se posicionaron en los primeros lugares del top musical en Venezuela, después se lanzaron al exterior. Algunas tuvieron éxitos y otras no. Quizas, fue campaña publicitarias para lanzar y promocionar telenovelas. En este trayecto musical, he disfrutado de la música de grupos y bandas venezolanas, que han alcanzado el éxito. Entre ellos: Banda Áditus, Grupo Pentágono, Témpano, Rapsodia, Sentimiento muerto, Desorden Público. También solistas tales como: Ilan Chester, Yordano, Franco De Vita, Carlos Mata, Guillermo Dávila, Vytas Brenner, Ricardo Montaner, entre otros. Algunos son venezolanos de pura cepa y otros que iniciaron una nueva vida con su familia y fueron acogidos con amor en nuestro país.
