La música provoca un sinfín de emociones. Alegría, tristeza, nos hace viajar al pasado, nos inspira, nos invita a bailar, nos anima e incluso si la letra de alguna canción no nos gusta, puede generar cierto rechazo. Definitivamente la música nos hace sentir más vivos.

**1. Canción favorita.**
Esta primera pregunta es bastante difícil porque la verdad hay muchas canciones en mi lista de reproducción que puedo repetir una y otra vez sin cansarme porque me encantan, pero creo que por los momentos responderé diciendo que una de mis canciones favoritas es _Hotel California_ de la banda estadounidense Eagles.
**1. Favorite song**
This first question is quite difficult because the truth is that there are many songs in my playlist that I can repeat over and over again without getting tired because I love them, but I think that for the moment I will answer by saying that one of my favorite songs is _Hotel California_ by the American band Eagles.
**2. Canción que odies.**
Una de mis cantantes femeninas favoritas es Avril Lavigne y casi todas sus canciones me encantan a excepción de _Girlfriend_. De verdad es que detesto esa canción básicamente porque la letra es muy tonta y no transmite nada positivo. Prácticamente en esta canción se incita a una chica a quitarle el novio a otra chica y no podemos dejar atrás el sonido de la canción que a mí parecer es un poco infantil y no se puede comparar en lo absoluto a otras canciones bastante buenas de esta cantante.

One of my favorite female singers is Avril Lavigne and I love almost all of her songs except for _Girlfriend_. I really hate that song basically because the lyrics are so silly and don't convey anything positive. Practically in this song a girl is incited to take away the boyfriend of another girl and we can't leave behind the sound of the song that in my opinion is a bit childish and can't be compared at all to other pretty good songs of this singer.
**3. Canción que te pone triste.**
Definitivamente _El Muelle de San Blás_ de la banda mexicana Maná. La canción trata básicamente de una mujer que despide a su gran amor en este muelle y con la esperanza de que él regresara lo esperó cada día de su vida, hasta envejecer, pero él nunca regresó.
¿Cómo no ponerse triste con esta letra? Esta canción me hace llorar cada vez que la escucho.
**3. Song that makes you sad.**
Definitely _El Muelle de San Blás_ by the Mexican band Maná. The song is basically about a woman who says goodbye to her great love in this pier and with the hope that he would come back she waited for him every day of her life, until she got old, but he never came back.
How not to get sad with these lyrics? This song makes me cry every time I listen to it.
**4. Canción que te recuerde a alguien.**
_Come Fly With Me_ de Frank Sinatra me recuerda mucho a mi padre. Él es un gran fanático de este cantante, de hecho tiene una colección enorme de todos sus discos, así que prácticamente yo crecí escuchando estas canciones. Una de las canciones favoritas de mi padre es esta que menciono y recuerdo que cada vez que mi padre la reproducía ambos la cantábamos a todo pulmón y cuando la canción terminaba, éñ simplemente me observaba y me decía con un tono emocionado: _"¿la repetimos?"_ y, evidentemente, yo no podía negarme porque la canción también me gustaba bastante...bueno, aun me sigue gustando.
**4. Song that reminds you of someone.**
_Come Fly With Me_ by Frank Sinatra reminds me a lot of my father. He is a big fan of this singer, in fact he has a huge collection of all his records, so I practically grew up listening to these songs. One of my father's favorite songs is this one I mention and I remember that every time my father played it we would both sing it at the top of our lungs and when the song was over, he would just look at me and say with an excited tone: _"shall we do it again?"_ and, evidently, I could not refuse because I also liked the song a lot...well, I still do.
**5. Canción que te hace feliz.**
Una canción que me hace feliz por la energía positiva que me transmite es _Walking On Sunshine_ de Katrina and the Waves. De hecho esta es una de mis canciones favoritas para iniciar el día con energía y buen humor.

A song that makes me happy because of the positive energy it transmits is _Walking On Sunshine_ by Katrina and the Waves. In fact this is one of my favorite songs to start the day with energy and good mood.
**6. Canción que te recuerde a un momento específico.**
_Devuélveme a Mi Chica_ de Hombre G me recuerda a un viaje por carretera que realicé en compañía de mi padre y de unos primos. Habíamos preparado una lista de reproducción musical para el viaje que resultó ser bastante amplia y variada, pero sin embargo habían canciones que terminábamos repitiendo más que otras y entre esas se encontraba esta de Hombre G, la cantábamos a todo pulmón...¡qué buen viaje aquel!
**6. Song that reminds you of a specific moment.**
_"Give Me Back My Girl"_ by Hombre G reminds me of a road trip I took with my father and some cousins. We had prepared a musical playlist for the trip that turned out to be quite extensive and varied, but there were songs that we ended up repeating more than others and among those was this one by Hombre G, we sang it at the top of our lungs...what a great trip that was!
**7. Canción que te sabes perfectamente.**
Me sé varias canciones a la perfección porque realmente cuando me gusta demasiado una canción la repito una y otra y otra y otra vez. En serio, puedo pasar muchos días seguidos escuchando la misma canción más de cinco veces al día, al parecer no tengo límites. Una de estas canciones es _Adiós Amor_ de una de mis bandas Venezolanas de rock favoritas: Caramelos de Cianuro. Y si hablamos de canciones en inglés, me sé a la perfección _Shot At The Night_ de The Killers.
**7. Song you know perfectly.**
I know several songs perfectly because when I really like a song too much I repeat it over and over and over and over and over again. Seriously, I can spend many days in a row listening to the same song more than five times a day, apparently I have no limits. One of these songs is _Adiós Amor_ by one of my favorite Venezuelan rock bands: Caramelos de Cianuro. And if we're talking about songs in English, I know The Killers' _Shot At The Night_ perfectly.

_Cinco_ de la banda venezola Anakena es imposible que no logre hacerme bailar. Es un tema que está bastante cargado con percusión latina que contagia las ganas de bailar.

_Cinco_ by the Venezuelan band Anakena is impossible not to make me dance. It is a song that is quite loaded with Latin percussion that makes you want to dance.

Creo que una buena canción para dormir es _The Girl From Ipanema_, la versión de Frank Sinatra & Antônio Carlos Jobim es la que más gusta.

En mi época de adolescente tuve una gran obsesión con este grupo musical y desde siempre una de mis canciones favoritas era esta, por lo pegajoso y divertido de su ritmo. Es gracioso admitir que todavía me encanta.
**10. Song you secretly love.**
This is a little funny for me to accept, but one song I still secretly love is What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. When I was a teenager I had a huge obsession with this musical group and since always one of my favorite songs was this one, because of its catchy and fun beat. It's funny to admit that I still love it.

Creo que en este momento no hay alguna canción que me haya gustado y que ahora deteste. Por lo general cuando una canción no me agrada nunca ha pasado por la etapa previa de gustarme, pero sí me ha pasado al contrario: _canciones que al principio no me gustaban y que luego termino amando_.
**11. Song you used to love and now hate.**
I don't think that at this moment there is any song that I have liked and now I hate. Usually when I don't like a song I have never gone through the previous stage of liking it, but the opposite has happened to me: _songs that I didn't like at the beginning and then I end up loving them_.
**12. Canción que sepas tocar con un instrumento.**
Sé tocar algunas en la guitarra, una de ellas es Zombie de The Cranberries y otra es El Muelle de San Blás (la misma que me pone triste y me hace llorar).

I know how to play some of them on guitar, one of them is Zombie by The Cranberries and another one is El Muelle de San Blás (the same one that makes me sad and makes me cry).
