Emotion - Bee Gees (Cover) by @yisusth

A cordial greeting to this beautiful #Music community. On this occasion, I present my trumpet interpretation of "Emotion", a song that mixes genres such as Disco and Pop, composed by Barry and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees in 1977. I really like the first version with Samantha Sang and Barry Gibb's choir. The melody is very beautiful, emotional, with repetitions in its phrases, but with slight variations. I perform this piece in the key of D Major; the original version is probably in C Major. I recorded a second voice and added it to part of the chorus. I would have liked to be more precise when editing the vocals, but I didn't use headphones, which makes it a bit difficult to keep time. The tempo is moderate and has an ethereal disco groove. The lyrics are very beautiful and moving because they speak of loneliness, longing, and vulnerability in the face of the lack of love and emotional connection.

Un saludo cordial a esta bella comunidad de #Music. En esta oportunidad les presento mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Emotion», una canción que mezcla géneros como el Disco y el Pop compuesta por Barry y Robin Gibb de los Bee Gees en 1977. Me gusta mucho la primera versión con Samantha Sang y el coro de Barry Gibb. La melodía es muy hermosa, emotiva con repeticiones en sus frases, pero con leves variaciones. Esta pieza la interpreto en la tonalidad de D Mayor, probablemente la versión original se encuentre en C Mayor. Grabe una segunda voz, y la agregue en parte del coro. Me hubiera gustado ser más preciso, al editar las voces, pero no use audífonos y eso dificulta un poco llevar el tiempo. El Tempo es moderado y tiene un ritmo groove disco etéreo. La letra es muy hermosa, y conmovedora porque habla de soledad, anhelo y vulnerabilidad ante la falta de amor y conexión emocional.

I recently had a beautiful experience about hope. I had a trip pending to perform a service for my family, and I didn't have enough resources to pay for the ticket or food during my stay. I felt overwhelmed and tied hand and foot until I received a call the night before the trip. A friend asked me if I would travel, and I told him I was thinking about it, that I couldn't afford the ticket. He then told me not to worry about it, that he would take me. With the little I had, I was able to have breakfast, and at lunch, those accompanying me shared their food with me. Once hope becomes a reality, all I can do is thank God for such an infinite favor. Although we may often feel hopeless, lost, and without possibilities, life places people in our path to fill us with hope and miracles. In this beautiful profession of music, hope is a ray of sunshine with beautiful musical notes. I hope you enjoy my post this week.

Hace poco tuve una bella experiencia sobre la esperanza. Tenia un viaje pendiente para hacer un servicio a mis familiares y no tenia suficiente recursos para pagar el pasaje, ni para los alimentos durante mi estadía. Me sentía abrumado y atado de manos y pies, hasta que recibí una llamada en la noche antes del viaje. Un amigo me pregunto si viajaría, y yo le comunique que lo estaba pensando, que no me alcanzaba para el pasaje. Entonces, el me dijo que no me preocupara por eso, que el me llevaría. Con lo poco que tenia puede desayunar y en el almuerzo quienes me acompañan compartieron sus alimentos conmigo. Una vez que la esperanza se convierte en realidad no queda más que agradecer a Dios por tan infinito favor. Aunque muchas veces podemos sentirnos desahuciados, perdidos y sin posibilidades, la vida nos pone a pone a personas en nuestro camino para llenarnos de esperanza y milagros. En esta bella profesión de la música, la esperanza es un rayito de sol con hermosas notas musicales. Espero disfruten de mi entrada esta semana.
