When I was working offshore and flying up to Aberdeen every few weeks The one thing I consistently forgot were my earbuds. No real biggie just pick up another pair in duty free but this is the result. So almost 6 years down the line I've decided to do something with the box of earbuds cluttering up my life.
The sad thing is I know this isn’t the end as there is an empty box for JBL wireless buds so they are going to keep turning up.
And I know I have a pair of Klipsch and a pair of B&O lurking in a draw somewhere. There are also sone noise cancelling Bose headphones that I use for gaming.
Abs a set of Sony Wireless monitor for chilling out to decent music in the house.
One interest set is a waterproof MP3 player.
That I took to Truck lagoon and Bikini Atoll it's only rated for about 10m but I got around that by leaving it in an Otter box clipped on to the 6m deco platform. Music made the 2 hour decos a bit more bearable. Very handy so I guess I'm keeping those.
But what do you do with over a dozen pairs of headphones I guess it's off to the charity shop with most of them. The only problem with that is I'm not very good at chucking stuff out and can never make my mind up on what to keep.
The Shure 425s are amazing but flawed need repairing so stay tuned for a bit of DIY now that as I have finally found a cost effective way to fix them.
If I'm going to be honest the headphones I use most at the moment are a Shokz bone induction head set. Reasonable sound and you can hear whats going on around you so much safer if your out walking than earbuds or full headphones.
As for the rest it's off to the charity shop unless anyone out there wants a pair I'll post them out if your quick.
