Have we ever had even one decade on this planet without any significant conflict or war? I doubt it. Look at how aggressive people are these days with only a smartphone and an internet connection at hand, and imagine these same individuals wielding weapons ranging from bows and arrows to gunpowder and beyond.
As far as I know, my country has never been in a position of conquest. We Romanians, and before us, the Dacians, have always fought defensive battles rather than offensive ones. I guess we were content to stay put and didn't need anything from others.
However, various intruders have disrupted our peace and attempted to plunder and conquer us, to some extent succeeding, like the Romans, for example.
In today's episode for the @photographylovers community, I'm sharing some of the pictures I took on Saturday at the museum, featuring various "plastic models" dressed in costumes replicating different historical periods and war weapons.
While some items might be authentic, others are clearly replicas. Nonetheless, together they paint a colorful picture of life on these grounds throughout history, from the year 100 to the early 1900s.
Unfortunately, all my photos are taken with a smartphone, so the quality can't match that of a professional camera. However, I hope you'll still appreciate them.
I won't spend too much time on words for this post because the photos are the focal point. I can only hope you'll enjoy them, and I also want to wish you all a fantastic Monday and week ahead.
Time to hit the gym like a warrior. Enjoy!
Thanks for your attention, Adrian
