Watching scenes...

--- >I wondered as I looked at these real works of art, if they came to life what would happen. ---  --- For several days in the month of December I was able to walk around and admire a form of art that I had not taken so much notice of before and which is absolutely admirable. In the city, as I could see on the map, there were innumerable places where nativity scenes were exhibited, of course I could not go to all of them, but I could go to some that stood out the most and some that I found by chance, although as I always say chance does not exist, for some reason I was there. ---     --- The first one I bring you today was the culmination of a great handicraft exhibition and it was the tallest and with very outstanding figures. I like to observe them closely and look at every detail, every expression, the position of each character, each statuette and how in the whole it forms a scene with a lot of meaning. >This nativity scene belongs to an exhibition of the Asociación Belenista de Málaga La Alcazaba, called Nativity of Jesus and adoration of the shepherds. It is to admire the animals, the cart with food for them, the columns, the flower beds with plants, the texture and shape of the tree... every detail counts and I wanted to pay attention to each one of them. But another thing I like is, and in these cases I was able to do it, to surround the scenery and be able to look at these works of art from all angles. You can't always do that because of where they are displayed and that's why I bring these two examples together, because I was presented with the opportunity to look in all directions and angles. >I'm not an expert in photography, more someone who loves to capture moments, I think that's what it's all about. ---   --- The second nativity scene I bring you was found by chance on a visit to a museum, the Thyssen Museum in the city of Malaga. As I entered the central courtyard of the museum, many people were around it and as I approached I could see this majestic work of art and good taste. As I always say, it goes beyond the religion of each one of us, I admire the art and the way these spectacular models are made. >This nativity scene belongs to the Archicofradía de los Dolores de San Juan and was lent to the museum to exhibit it, a marvel. I tried, as with the previous one, to capture the scenes and wonder what would happen if they came to life. I was so close and took the pictures so close that it looked real and as you know I love realism, life and art. ---    --- In this case more reference is made to the arrival of the wise men who are in the scene visiting Jesus. But look at every detail like the man carrying the jars, as I say every detail counts and here there are many. The sheep, the building, the palm trees, a dove flying... a lot of care was put into those little big details. ---    --- The faces of the statuettes, the poses, the clothing and all the accessories are a marvel of miniature art. Just look at the man wearing a cape and carrying a guitar on his back. Even the cactus near him looks beautiful. People were riding on a donkey or climbing a ladder and every bush, plant, fruit tree and everything that makes up the great composition is worth seeing but not from above but in the smallest detail. --- >There are many different art forms, many of them sometimes overlooked, but I like to bring them to you so that you can see what my eyes have seen.
