# Once upon a time... a powerful sunset in Ibiza - Cala Tarida

Sunsets in nature have the power to bring me calm. No matter what I might be going through, no matter very well where I am or with whom. It is an instant in which I successfully manage to give a pause to the movement of my mind without even looking for it.
This sunset took place a couple of days ago in Cala Tarida. It was a magical moment, especially because I found a somewhat hidden spot, which was not on the beach with all the people.
Cala Tarida is my favorite spot in Ibiza and I consider myself lucky to be here at this moment.
I left home around 8:00 pm and started walking in the direction of the jetties, where I hoped to see the sunset. However, on the way, I found this *spot*, this beautiful place where I took these pictures.

> Este atardecer tuvo lugar hace un par de días en Cala Tarida. Fue un momento mágico, en especial porque encontré un sitio algo oculto, que no estaba en la playa con toda la gente.
> Cala Tarida es mi punto preferido de Ibiza y me considero afortunada por poder estar aquí en este momento.
> Salí de casa alrededor de las 20:00 horas y empecé a andar en dirección a los embarcaderos, donde esperaba ver el atardecer. Sin embargo de camino, me encontré con este *spot*, con este lugar precioso en donde tomé estas fotos.
I did indeed arrive at the beach, which although I had several expectant people nearby waiting for “that” moment, it was not crowded because it is not high season.
I had already found my place on the way there, so for sunset, I was planning to return there, so I took some pictures and a few minutes before the big moment, I settled on a rock and had a spectacular view, in the front row and in silence of that Sunday afternoon sunset.
> Llegué efectivamente a la playa, que aunque tenía varios expectantes cerca esperando por “ese” momento, no estaba repleta porque no es temporada alta.
> Yo ya me había encontrado con mi lugar a la ida, por lo que para la puesta del sol, pensaba regresar allí, así que tomé algunas fotos y unos minutos antes del gran momento, me instalé en una roca y tuve una vista espectacular, en primera fila y en silencio de aquel sunset de domingo por la tarde.
