Hello to my regular friends, today I want to talk about one of the customs and traditions in Iran. It's Ash Wednesday and jumping over fire. On the night of the last Wednesday of the year, all people jump over the fire to have their problems, in other words, their pain and misfortunes, taken away from them.
And at the same time as we jump over the fire, we say: May the yellow on my face be yours, may the red on your face be mine. That is, we say to the fire, may the yellowness and my problems be yours, and may the redness be your good mood.
On the night of Chaharshanbe Suri, in addition to jumping over the fire, we try to celebrate this night with all kinds of crackers and permitted fireworks.
As usual, we went to one of the upper parts of the city and tried to celebrate this day with fireworks and joy.
It is one of the highest points near the city, and the city can be seen below us.
