It seems that everywhere we go, there are dogs. The world has become overpopulated by dogs (in a good way I think). Nonetheless, we stayed at a local place for a couple of days and these dogs were there. And my fiance almost lost it. She loves dogs and her inner child escaped for the moment and she played with them like there were no end of days. We soon found out that these youthful dogs were so energetic, and constantly on the lookout for some partners in playfulness crime! At some point it really got too much, and they luckily did not bother us too much, but almost everyday at around 15:00 they started their routine of playing with each other in a manner that might look like they were hurting each other. But we soon found out it was just playfulness. And then I had the bright idea of trying to take some photographs of them... This was challenging but I committed to it. The reason for the challenge was that they constantly bumped into me... Here is some video evidence of how they play-fought: ___

But somehow I managed to get a couple of good shots in, with dogs biting at each other jumping over me. I missed most of the shots, because I did not plan for this moment to happen. I only had my manual focus old Nikkor 50mm lens with me - not in any sense of the word ideal for the chaotic fight that unfolded in front of me. If I had my other lenses with me, I would have captured the whole fight in much more detail, and in focus! But this was all I had. And I think that even though I missed almost all of the shots, the ones that I landed came out pretty good... ___ |![8.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/fermentedphil/23tSMwZ1VApPwf4v4FM4TEBaaYNiM7dXKuC4r9GMrsRnSNSwb6bb2p9UqpRDk1EJZcg3W.JPG)|![6.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/fermentedphil/23tbktjxEfbxp8br6AYYQYABCiXxEPkjjs3GSRswwNFf8yAC1UB1SmGq2fxJJcb7aJMDq.JPG)|![7.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/fermentedphil/23tbkyyma5JMvy6HB9ZeaV1DUemEx6H9yKtur7vP4Ux6Qku7CfRSuiRNTFtGgPugC5AVR.JPG)| |-|-|-| ___

You cannot teach old dogs new tricks... But these were young puppies and I think that they did not have one lesson of being nice and not naughty for one second. The photographs are also my own, taken with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 50mm lens.*
