And everything is the same, yet different. The streets are silent, the lights flicker, and the scents of the evening awaken some old memories. Footsteps echo softly, as if the city is asleep, but never quite.
I love it like this — quiet, honest, unhurried. A city you know with your eyes closed, but it surprises you again and again when you stop and look around.
