Every year I'm visiting the Roosta recreation centre in north-western Estonia during the summer with my family. This year I went to this place not one time, but three. Two times with family and once with a friend. Not only because it's a great location for relaxation but also because the beach bar has the best pizza in the whole country.
Here I have some photos that I took during my last visit there about a week ago. Mostly I just took random photos in the beach with the sunset.
I dont know who that is but he looked photogenic in that seaside grass and with that lighting.
The beach is great for swimming there but most of the time, the water is so freaking cold in this spot. In june, the water was 10 degrees, in July it was 13 and in August, I think it was around 13 too. I know onyl a handful of times over themany years when you touch the water there and its warm like 20 degrees C or so.
It was the last trip of the summer because September just started and with that the summer usually ends. At least mentally I dont consider September as summer anymore. Eventhough according to calendar the fall officially starts at September 22-nd. The end of August sucked a bit with its weather being rainy and fairly cold. The forecast shows that summer weather will come back now with temps reaching 25 degrees C this week so maybe we will still get some summer vibes here, I hope!
