Visiting Ronda Spain! It's famous of it's big stone arch bridge between two parts of the city, that was build in the year 1616! And it's highest arch is 31 meters! But to get there, first it's a little walk trough the town! As almost all Spanish towns, it's full of withe houses!
It is a town in the middle of the mountains so everywhere you look at the horizon, you will see them! I do like that because we don't have mountains in the Netherlands!
All the small streets are pretty steep!
I even found a little church in the towns centre!
Lovely small windows and plants growing against the walls!
And many people still cook, using these gas bottles!
There are always flowers around!
The walk to the view point at the bottom of the bridge, passes beautiful fields with fruit and olive trees!
And there is a haman here to! It's a place with a big history with hist Celtic heritage but also Greek, Roman and the Moors who made this city the capitol of Andalusia!
The higer you get, the nicer the view is!
And this is were it's all about!
This is a picture made of a viewoint higher up, witch has got the best view of the bridge! But sadly it was very busy there! And I was asked to take pictures of a couple of people who were standing there! That totaly made me forget to take pictures of it myself!
I did took pictures of it while standing on top of the bridge! The view and the surroundings are in credible beautiful!
But as you can see, even for a rainy weekday's, it still was full of people!
I love the view down!
Pretty awesome to see all the buildings build so close to the edge!
