I was away to Wanaka last week for work, Wanaka is like a smaller Queenstown, I like it there quite a gorgeous town and about 5:30 hours drive from Christchurch.
I have been there for work on several occasions towards the end of last year. As usual, I always find tourist hotspots where the job takes me to so it wasn't difficult to find #ThatWanakaTree, which I photographed and shared with you on Hive. That was in summer, so I was fortunate to be sent there in autumn ๐ currently as winter approaches.
Getting the opportunity to experience an autumn view of the tree is awesome. Despite my tight schedule, I made a quick stop at Roys Bay for photos, even in my PPE and work boots.
It was busy, which is not a surprise as tourists walk towards the loan tree in the lake for photos. I had to move shooting ๐ท spots several times as tourists walk into my focus ๐
I am still hunting for an epic shot with some orange light in the sky, that will be a delightful shot for, but for now, these are the shots I got away with.
