Not really, as my crazy imagination was just very active again.
But when you see the photos below, I think that you will also agree that it was an elephant.
Grey heavy clouds have been taking up much of the sky each day during this winter. It feels as if we have seen less of the sun over this current season, and far more grey skies than last winter. So, on this particular occasion, the white clouds and sunshine were most welcome. It always looks so beautiful with the sun outlining the clouds. As I have mentioned before, I love looking for shapes in the clouds.
Maybe the elephant in this post managed to escape from a zoo and is making his way back into the wild where he belongs. Or maybe it was a circus that he ran away from, completely tired of making a profit for the uncaring owners making money from people by entertaining them. Now he can return to his family and live in peace in his natural environment, where people will leave him alone and allow him to roam free again.
The elephant was really loping across the clouds.
A bit of a closer look at the elephant.
Look how the dark cloud within the white cloud looks like a buck.
Now for something else.
Ever so slowly, the clouds started to collapse on to the mountain.
Let's have a look at the trees on a hill below the mountain. The faint blue line shows the outline of the mountain.
Just don't ask me what kind of trees they are, but most of them look like some kind of pine trees.
I think the trees in the background look like London Plane trees.
And finally, just a lovely bluish shot below.
Maybe tomorrow I will see the rest of the zoo and circus animals escaping to return to their homes and families. What a wonderful time that will be. They will go where they cannot be found by humans, and where they can live out their days in the glaciers, deserts, tropics, bushveld, and mountains from where they all come. Trapped birds in cages can again fly over their own skies, away from the human pollution and traps.
Now that would be a joy-filled day to see this. All the fish and sea life, once again living and breathing in freedom, as they were created to be. But the seas feed many people, and the people are supposed to teach their children about nature at the zoos, but poachers and hunters are slowly starting to clear the wildlife out. Just imagine if there were to be no more animals on the planet. A sad tale.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
