The March weather is aptly described by a popular saying: "Březen – za kamna vlezem. (March – get behind the stove.)" Although March is considered a spring month from a meteorological perspective, it is typically cold. Currently, in our region, mornings are around -1°C, which is essentially frost. The photo shows hoarfrost on the field.
But that's only in the morning. In the afternoon, the temperature rises to 16°C. In the morning, I wear a sweater, and in the afternoon, I carry it in my backpack.

I když je březen z meteorologického pohledu jarní měsíc, bývá typicky chladný. Nyní je to v našem regionu tak, že ráno máme kolem -1°C, takže vlastně mráz. Na fotce je vidět jinovatka na poli.
Ale to je jen ráno. Odpoledne teplota stoupne až na 16°C. Ráno nosím svetr, odpoledne ho nosím v batohu.

And what happens when you exhale warm, moist air into the frost with your mouth? You can see your breath. This is a similar principle. Relatively warmer and humid air rises from the river, and in the frost, it condenses into fog.
Na tmavém pozadí lesa je vidět světlý pruh mlhy. Co to je? V těch místech teče řeka Bečva. Nad ní je mrazivý vzduch, ale voda je teplejší, má pár stupňů nad nulou. A co se stane, když ústy vydechnete teplý vlhký vzduch do mrazu? Jde vám pára od úst. A toto je podobný princip. Relativně teplejší a vlhký vzduch stoupá z řeky, a v mrazu z něj kondenzuje mlha.

Na závěr dám něco povzbuzujícího: ranní slunce ozářilo jehnědy. Když už někde vylétají včely, toto je jejich první potrava.
