Just got back from an evening walk and processed these photos.
The hot humid summer has been producing some nice sunsets lately. This tree full of heron nests works perfectly for a huge sun turning it into a silhouette.
I switched the camera setting to portrait and somehow it introduced a lot more blue into the photo. In reality the sunset looked more orange surrounding the sun.
Now that the sun is getting lower they sky is really turning more blue.
I zoomed out the lens a bit to get the horse track in view.
Later on in the path I found a nice tree element to frame the last of the sun.
On the way to the horse track I had to stop in a parking lot to get the cloud interaction with the sun.
At first I didn't like the power lines too much but they are starting to grow on me.
This shot ended up blurry because a mosquito decided to bite me right as I clicked the shot. Darn things are everywhere.
Here is a shot from the parking lot of the horse track.
And another one with a couple tiny robin silhouettes next to the sun.
Overall this summer has been great for nice colorful sunsets. Thanks for looking :-)
