For more than a year my 3 year old daughter has been asking to come with me when I do photos, so I have started to ease her into going on adventures! I started with a very easily accessible waterfall, then with some light painting. She loved both but it was when I went to another waterfall without her that she got upset. She told me that I forgot about her lol. I think it is fair to say that she has been bitten by the hiking bug!
So I took her to Lower Chedoke Falls. Not the hardest hike but far from easy. Most adults would struggle getting across the rocks, water and brush/trees. So I figured she wouldn't make it the whole way but she would have tones of fun.
To my surprise, she did not just make it to the falls, she did it with ease! Her first order of business once there? Get pictures of me daddy!
Her second? Throwing rocks lol.
While she played with the rocks, I snapped a few shots of the landscape.
We hiked back out and I expected her to be tired and ready to relax. I was very wrong and had her tugging on my shirt asking if we could go to another one. Oh to have the energy of youth lol I definitely have my new adventure buddy!
