Today I was surprised to find an event in one of the plazas in the city where I live while walking through the city, drinking some on a perfectly bright and sunny day. As I approached the plaza, I saw they were setting up several musical instruments, mostly drums, so I asked what this event was about. They told me it was a rock event with many musicians playing classic American songs and that there would be approximately 200 musicians. This situation really caught my attention.
At first, I was just planning to take some photos while they were setting up the instruments. I had also told my wife that a musical event was about to begin, so she got ready and arrived. However, we wanted to go somewhere else for dinner and also take advantage of the opportunity to pick up some medicine for my dog, Brandy. I said, "Well, they haven't started yet, so there would be time to eat and do whatever I could."
But after returning, we arrived just as they were playing the last song because, as I mentioned, several musicians were playing the same songs simultaneously, so we missed the entire event. At least I took some photos at the beginning when they were setting everything up, during a very bright afternoon, but you could still feel the energy of the music. This has taught me that it's better to wait on-site at an event like this so you don't miss it.
All photos are mine.
