I’m back again to share another glimpse of one of our past pets a furry cat.
One afternoon, as I was about to enter the house carrying my dry laundry, I saw a cat sitting by the door quietly. We don’t actually have a pet cat, but this one often visits our home, this cat belongs to my mother-in-law. I was amused because the cat didn’t try to sneak inside or look for food in the kitchen. Usually, when we leave the door open, other cats come in, but not this one.
This cat was originally brought home by our niece from Buguias four years ago. She was the only cat we have, but now there are many of them. I’ve lost count of how many times she’s given birth. During her first three months, she behaved well, but as time went on, she started exploring the kitchen and stealing food. One time, she even ran off with a whole fish(tilapia)! Because of that, my father-in-law cut her ear, believing in the superstition that doing so would stop a cat from stealing food. That’s why one of her ear looks that way
When I entered the house, she stepped out, but once I was inside, she came back and sat by the door again. I felt sorry for her thinking she is hungry, so I gave her some leftover food from earlier. She doesn’t like eating inside, so I brought the food out for her. At first, she seemed shy, but then she took some bite and hide behind the door to eat.
