All Along The Watchtower is a song originally recorded and written by the legendary Bob Dylan, although I and many others most strongly associate the song with The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Recorded for Electric Ladyland with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, it was released just six months after Bob Dylan's original version. Hitting the top 20 in 1968, the song has also been called one of the greatest songs of all time.
