Chainsaw carved Native American archer

Hello and good morning all, Today I'd like to share a tree sculpture I cave last year for a great customer.

Originally the customer wanted a different design. They wanted an Indian with his arms out as if he was welcoming. Kind of difficult to describe but let's just say it wasn't going to work with the way the tree was shaped.

20211006_113322.jpg After the first day, the customer and I both agreed the design needed to be changed. It already looked like an archer so we went with it.

20211008_132037.jpg I went back to the shop and made the bow, arrow and quiver.

20211009_143241.jpg 3rd and final day and finished with the carving. Customer chose no paint, just a slight burn.

The end result was a very satisfied customer. I had much fun carving him. Thank you all for following and seeing what I saw...I love what I do and happy to share. Thanks again, Jon
