Australia Food Guide - #11 The Rocks Cafe, Sydney The Rocks

It´s a few years back since I have been here, but I remember it like it was yesterday. I never had a Burger with a better view like in **The Rocks Cafe** in Sydney which is situated next to the world famous harbour and the harbour bridge.

Es ist ein paar Jahre her, seit ich hier war, aber ich erinnere mich, dass es gestern war. Ich hatte noch nie einen Burger mit einer besseren Aussicht als im **The Rocks Cafe** in Sydney, das neben dem weltberühmten Hafen und der Habour Bridge liegt.

Two reasons made us sit down here for lunch. First was the impressive view of the **Sydney Harbour Bridge** and the second reason was the unbelievable Burger Lunch offer.

Zwei Gründe ließen uns hier zum Mittagessen sitzen. Erstens die beeindruckende Aussicht auf die **Sydney Harbour Bridge** und zweitens das unglaubliche Burger-Lunch-Angebot.

That Burger Lunch Offer was so good that we could not turn it down. I still remember it as one of the best Burgers I ever had. The offer included a Big Beef Burger with cheese and bacon, some delicious beer battered chips and a glass of homemade icetea. That lunch offer cost us 16 Dollar per person what today is not more than 10 Euro. So it wasn´t only very good, it was quite affordable as well.

Das Burger Lunch Angebot war so gut, dass wir es nicht ablehnen konnten. Das Angebot umfasste einen Big Beef Burger mit Käse und Bacon, ein paar leckere Pommes Frites und ein Glas hausgemachten Eis-Tee. Dieses Mittagsangebot kostete uns 16 Dollar pro Person, was heute nicht mehr als 10 Euro ist. Es war also nicht nur sehr gut, sondern auch erschwinglich.
