I was passing by the mall yesterday on the way home from work.. And this woodcraft construction kit caught my attention. It is a wood puzzle that when put together, forms or makes a classic car. I immediately knew, this would make a very nice "pasalubong" for my kids.
Although the gift is not about the price, it is worthy to note that this item is relatively cheap. I found it for PhP 88 (about US$ 1.75). Worth every penny!
I used "Office Lens" application to snap a rectangular picture of the packaging. It seemingly appears a perfect quadrilateral. Today, we put the wood pieces together.
The only downside I could find from this is that the instructions are written in a foreign language. (Seems to be Japanese, but I cannot really tell.) Nevertheless, we attempted to put the pieces together.
After about an hour of trying to figure it out, tada! See some snapshots of the finished product below.
From another angle, the fully constructed woodcraft classic car. Unused extra pieces of the wooden puzzle are still in the background.
We glued the major pieces of the puzzle together so it will not fall apart. Some of the wooden pieces interlock, so no further gluing necessary on those.
There are lots of other woodcraft pieces in the store. I might go back again sometime get more "pasalubong" or gifts to other kids.
