This Exists is a YouTube channel run by Toronto-based music journalist and creative director Sam Sutherland, which covers topics such as internet culture and pop ephemera, usually with a focus on music. I stumbled across This Exists a few years ago when I was stumbling down a youtube-scientology rabbit hole, he'd posted a really well produced and interesting video about the music created by Scientology.
The many varied and bizarre topics that Sam covers are captivating, highlighting sub-cultures that I just wouldn't have heard of otherwise. Unfortunately these days, Sam doesn't put out that many videos on the This Exists channel, but there is already enough posted that you could spend a few days exploring the many different oddities he's found around the web and through friends.
