Dear actifit community, today I feel it’s time to go into some numbers!
136 - in kg, my starting weight 46 - my almost lethal body mass index at this time 16 - hours per day I spent in bed because of tiredness or pain or both 200 - meters I could maximum walk without resting 1600 - mg of paracetamol I had to take every day because of severe backpain
180 - days passed since I decided to not longer take this conditions
20 - kg I’ve lost since then 116 - kg, my actual weight 39,2 - my still too high body mass index 5.4 - km I am able to march fast without a break 6 to 8 - hours of sleep I need to jump out of bed fresh and motivated for the day 0 - number of painkillers I have to take right now
Considering this numbers today’s story feels like a logical consequence of it: When I was on my usual walking path and the running app called the first kilometer I started to run as usual (remember - that’s my actual plan, a quick sprint every 1.000 meters). But then I couldn’t stop.
I COULDN’T STOP!
I ran, ran, ran until the next kilometer was called out by the app. I was a bit shocked then by how far I have flown like in a fever, not recognizing anything around me. Wow.
