The German saying „Nur die Harten komm’ in’ Garten“ actually means that only the toughest will get to enjoy the garden. For me to reach the garden today the beach had the perfect conditions because it’s absolutely not about the sun as many of you might assume when talking about the beach.
Today it was rough. Cold. Windy. So for me enjoying the beach is listening to the sound of the waves. Watching seagulls hunting for snacks. The sensation of a cold breeze in my face. The wind blowing my hair in every direction. My feet moving wet sand aside while leaving steps behind.
And then there is the best about this weather conditions: Almost no people. At these days you can pretend the beach is all yours alone. Even the world might be all yours alone for some hours.
This, guys, is how my Sunday was. A few hours worth an entire vacation. And I have this right here in front of my door. To have it every day. Isn’t that great? It is.
Distance walked: 5.3 km
