The busy week continued today and despite a very short night of sleep, I was at the gym before dawn for my lifting session. It was the longer one so after a normal warm up, I started to rush through the sets and reps. The first couple of sets I had to get rest between as I was lifting heavy. I also did not have barbells today so I had to modify a handful of exercises which delayed things a bit as I kept them heavy.
I did not have time for a cooldown as I had to rush to work in time for meetings. I got good hydration and food during the day to recover but the day of meetings kept me more sedentary than I expected. Not much I could do until I got home and even then I tried to rest a bit. I eventually got to pace around the house to get to the daily goal but my mind and body are ready for sleep.
