As I start to reflect on starting the end of this new program, I continue to realize how small improvements are hard to perceive until you look at the data. I have been hard on myself given my weight direction and not seeing the same level of increases in strength that I got early on. However, as I look at the data I can see how I have slowly progressed and have built a solid foundation to build on. Strength training has become a habit which will lead to long term benefits.
I hit today’s workout with the same approach as I tried to raise some weights but got to failure with some. I think that the next step will be how I maintain this until I get a new program. I will shoft to a bit more endurance training soon but will keep core lifts as part of my strength days. I am enjoying the changes so far and think it will land me at a great place for year end.
