After another great night of sleep which had me fully recovered from the madness of the last couple of weeks, I was up looking at the weather to see if the temperature remains good for an outdoor workout. It was not as good at the weekend but there was no humidity and a good breeze made it very nice to go for a long run this morning. I was out and about and found myself going a good pace.
It proves that the temperature is definitely a factor for being able to push the pace. However, the sweat was still pretty extreme which is what I think will continue to make these long runs a challenge as I try to push for some endurance gains in my next training program. After a good shower and hydration, I was off to the races at work. It is definitely slowing down which is a blessing. Hopefully it stay that way as there is definitely plenty to catch up on as year end is just around the corner.
