The new Legendary AirDrop card, Zyrx the Emberglace is a Monster from the Dragon Splinter. It is a giant given its 10 Mana but those cards continue to expand with each set. The Giant killer ability has not been very common in Modern which seems like it will bring these cards as good alternatives in the meta. It is also unique in that it has two attack types, melee and magic. Even more interesting is that its ability will provide an interesting tradeoff; while you can benefit from Bloodlust, you will also provide damage to your fellow monster given the burn ability. I am sure the gurus of Splinterlands will provide interesting combinations to make this work in battle! For now, I bought enough packs to get lucky with some Black and Gold Foils to stake on my Mage Wagons. These foil variants definitely go a long way for CP this time around. This will provide enough CP for a maxed version guaranteed for this one. I also purchased additional wagons to stake some Rebellion cards despite the reduce CP. I had a good amount of luck as I got a couple of extra BCX and a Gold Foil version which went into the wagons to help for the next Conflict which now start after a short break between Conflicts. The future AirDrops will likely require me to go and buy some BCX as it gets harder to guarantee the drops. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how their value is perceived in the market given the inherent potential scarcity of Conclave Arcana in general. The Conclave Arcana AirDrops have now started so exciting for the community. It may be a while to see the next one but incredible to see the value being built for all the players in the ecosystem. My Collection has continued to bloom despite the markets in the past months. I cannot avoid getting deeper into this and while I am already well past my budget of packs, I am sure there will continue to be reasons to add to the wagons for the chance for more AirDrops even as they slow.
