After securing all the Legendary cards in the edition thanks to my pack allocations, I knew I wanted to double down on a group that could truly shift the meta—and the Archons stood out immediately. Why Archons? These aren’t just any cards. The Archons appear to be the game-changers of the Conclave Arcana release. Their utility, flexibility, and potential to redefine battle strategies made them the logical next step for me to prioritize. And let’s be honest—if you're going to invest early in the edition, starting with the potential meta-definers just makes sense. That said, this was also the most expensive group in the entire set. But because I had recently funded my account with fresh Credits, I had the flexibility to pursue them without needing to offload other assets or liquidate crypto holdings. My Path to Completion To kick things off, I purchased 100 Starter Packs, which gave me a solid base to begin with. But after running some numbers and tracking prices, I realized that continuing to chase through packs would be inefficient for finishing specific Archons. So I shifted gears. From that point on, I relied heavily on @peakmonsters—using their bid system to benchmark prices and make informed daily purchases. It became something of a ritual: I’d log in each day, check the market, and scoop up a card or two at fair value. Slowly but surely, the Archons were checked off one by one. Thankfully, this wasn’t an overwhelming chase. The Archons, while premium, are limited in number—which made the process feel attainable. But I can’t say the same for the rest of Conclave Arcana. Completing the full edition looks like it’s going to be a slow, deliberate grind from here on out. With the Archons locked in, I’ll likely take a step back to reassess my priorities for the remainder of the edition. I'm still targeting a full set, but the days of rapid completions may be behind me—at least until another opportunity lines up. For now, I'm just going to enjoy this win and start experimenting with these powerful cards in ranked and tournaments. Seeing how they evolve the meta firsthand is part of the fun, and I’m excited to be right in the middle of it.
