Arriving Chiang Mai
Dear friend,
My day started with early morning rise at 2.30 AM because the flight departure time was at 5.30AM. I arrived Chiang Mai International Airport at around 7.30 AM local time and arrived at the hostel at about 8.00 AM.
While I was at the hostel, one of my relatives came to meet me and we visited the market. We had tofu noodle together; it was very delicious. After that we went around the market for a while before I went back to my hostel for rest. There were a variety of food there in the market.
And I found beautiful flowers and interesting traditional handmade things. Now, Loi Krathong festival is near and I can found ready-made floating flowers for the festival.0
In the afternoon, I went out to Tha Phae Gate, which was about 1.3 km from my place and took some photos there. There were many people visiting the place.
After that, I visited the Sunday night market and had dinner there with my favorite fried oysters. The market became more and more crowded ; people kept on coming as it grew darker.
I met my friend at the night market and had dinner together. After that, we went to a shop, where bread were toasted in a traditional way with furnace and served in a variety ways. We had some milk with them.
It was a nice day with new experiences.
Those are some of the activities for today.
