A new game, an opportunity to learn (Eng/Esp)

The activities at home do not stop, every day represents a new recreational and educational adventure to learn and continue accumulating experiences as a mom. Sometimes, I am surprised by the ease with which children have to distract themselves with any object, without being a toy, because they have curiosity and imagination on their side.  Little Alma continues to discover and explore the house, a couple of days ago she started playing with the lids of the jars, these became plates to sell cake, ice cream, cookies and coffee, she has a toy that is an ice cream parlor and, for that reason, she associated the elements. It was very funny, she is able to turn a boring object into the protagonist of a striking or funny story. I remember last **Children's Day** I gave her a bowling game, it had six plastic fucsia pins with pig faces and a black ball with three holes to hold. She doesn't know how to handle this "ball", so she looks for one that she feels comfortable to play with, that's how she grabbed her big blue rubber ball and also a smaller white one.  She lined up the pins in a row and then took her distance to throw the ball. Every time she hit the ball, she celebrated with excitement, started a dance in the style of Lola the Cow and her "Aram Sam Sam", spun around several times and raised her arms in the air. His smile would light up the whole place. When he missed a shot he would say: "almost", "almost" and try again.  I think he is handling the fact of "failing" very well, so far he does not see it as a failure that generates frustration but as a new opportunity to try and, of course, do better. Looking for the mistake and correcting it, that learning is wonderful for his young age. I love that he continues to learn from mommy's hand.

Las actividades en casa no se detienen, cada día representa una nueva aventura recreativa y educativa para aprender y continuar acumulando experiencias como mamá. A veces, me sorprendo con la facilidad que tienen los niños para distraerse con cualquier objeto, sin ser un juguete, pues tienen a su favor la curiosidad y la imaginación.  La pequeña Alma continúa descubriendo y explorando la casa, hace un par de días empezó a jugar con las tapas de las jarras, estas se convirtieron en platos para vender torta, helado, galletas y café, tiene un juguete que es una heladería y, por tal razón, asoció los elementos. Fue muy gracioso, ella es capaz de convertir un objeto aburrido en el protagonista de una historia llamativa o divertida. Recuerdo que el pasado **Día del Niño** le regalé un juego de boliche o de bowling, este traía seis pinos fucsias de plástico con caras de cerdo y una bola negra con tres agujeros para sujetar. Ella no sabe manejar esta "pelota", así que busca una con la cual se sienta cómoda para jugar, fue así como agarró su pelota grande de hule color azul y también una blanca más pequeña.  Ella colocó los pinos en fila y, luego, tomó distancia para lanzar la pelota. Cada vez que atinaba celebraba de la emoción, comenzaba un baile al mejor estilo de la Vaca Lola y su "Aram Sam Sam", daba varias vueltas y alzaba los brazos. Su sonrisa iluminaba todo el lugar. Cuando fallaba un tiro decía: "casi", "casi" y lo volvía a intentar.  Considero que está manejando muy bien el hecho de "fallar", hasta ahora no lo ve como un fracaso que genera frustración sino como una nueva oportunidad para intentarlo y, por supuesto, hacerlo mejor. Buscar el error y corregirlo, ese aprendizaje es maravilloso para su corta edad. Me encanta que continúe aprendiendo de la mano de mamá.
