Last weekend we decided to go for a walk with Alma to the park because she had several days at home due to the rainy afternoons. On this occasion the girl was accompanied by her grandparents who also enjoyed this family moment.
When we arrived at the park there was a lot of activity, many children were riding the electric carts, others were playing on the inflatables, others on the swings and, of course, most of those present were enjoying ice cream and other food and treats sold in the park. Alma was in high spirits from the moment she arrived, her grandfather took her to a swing and then on the seesaw, it was all smiles for the little bee.
Afterwards, we visited one of the many ice cream shops located in front of the park. We bought a strawberry tin for the little girl and asked for a cone, while I had an Oreo bar, for my dad a Swiss cake, my mom a cake and my husband a chocolate. Alma brightened up the place with her smile and at last she was able to taste something sweet.
The walk continued through the park again, as we had to go through there again to return. This afternoon outing served as a chance for Alma to socialize with other children and also strengthen family ties. Sharing these moments makes us grateful for life and forget for a moment the many daily problems.
Al llegar al parque había mucha actividad, numerosos niños rodaban con los carros eléctricos, otros jugaban en los inflables, también en los columpios y, por supuesto, la mayoría de los presentes saboreaba helados y demás alimentos y golosinas que se venden en el parque. A la niña le compramos una tinita de fresa y adicional le pedimos un cono, en tanto yo degusté una barquilla de Oreo, para mi papá Torta suiza, mi mamá Pastelado y mi esposo Chocolate. Alma alegraba el local con su sonrisa y que al fin pudo saborear algo dulce.
El paseo siguió nuevamente por el parque puesto que para regresar debemos pasar otra vez por allí. Esta salida vespertina sirvió para que Alma socializara con otros niños y también para fortalecer lazos familiares. Compartir estos momentos nos lleva a agradecer la vida y olvidarnos por un instante de tantos problemas cotidianos.
