Dear readers of this great community a cordial greeting and an excellent start of the week, I know I am not much of a walk through these corridors but the time has come to do it.

I have already spent some days dedicating time to make some improvements at home and I want to share them with you.

The rains this year in Venezuela have been strong and with it come many consequences, the wall of my children's room butts up against part of the patio that is uncovered since I have not finished roofing that area, that makes the moisture gets through the wall and began to deteriorate the internal frieze.

On Saturday I took the decision to request a loan to @ruta.loans to not let more time to repair this, first for the health of my children and second to be less expensive.

The repair was done with glue (a mixture similar to the concrete used to glue ceramic tiles) and white cement.

Using these two materials saved me from buying yellow sand, gray cement and lime. Of course I can do this since the wall still has its frieze.

The process was simple since I have the tools to do it such as the trowel and the denim sponge.

The first step is to remove with a spatula all the frieze that is loose to prevent it from lifting again, once this step was done I passed the brush to remove dust and added water to the wall to give adhesion to the mixture.

I prepare the mixture 60% glued 20% white cement and 10% water, the materials are well integrated and proceed to place with the trowel on the wall then let it dry a little like 30 minutes and pass the wet sponge to give the texture and level with the rest of the frieze.

That's all the work to be done, I need to do the painting that I will do the other weekend but with 24h of drying time is enough to paint.

Estimados lectores de esta gran comunidad un saludo cordial y un excelente inicio de semana, se que no soy de pasear mucho por estos pasillos pero llegó la hora de hacerlo.

Tengo ya días dedicando tiempo a hacer ciertas mejoras en casa y quiero compartirlas con ustedes.

Las lluvias este año en Venezuela han estado fuertes y con ella vienen muchas consecuencias, la pared del cuarto de mis hijos hace tope con parte del patio que está descubierto ya que no he terminado de techar esa área, eso hace que la humedad se meta por la pared y empezó a deteriorar el friso interno.

El día sábado tome la decisión de solicitar un préstamo a @ruta.loans para no dejar pasar más tiempo en reparar esto, primero por la salud de mis hijos y segundo para que sea menor costoso.

La reparacion la hice con pego(es una mezcla similar al concreto que se usa para pegar cerámica) y con cemento blanco.

Utilizando estos dos materiales me ahorre comprar arena amarilla cernirla, cemento gris y cal. Claro está esto lo puedo hacer ya que la pared aún cuenta con su friso.

El proceso fue sencillo ya que tengo las herramientas para hacerlo como son la palustra y la esponja de mezclilla.

El primer paso es remover con una espátula todo el friso que este flojo para así evitar que se levante nuevamente, una vez realizado este paso le pase el cepillo para quitar el polvo y le agregué agua a la pared para dar adherencia a la mezcla.

La mezcla la preparo 60% pegó 20% cemento blanco y 10% agua, se integran bien los materiales y se procede a colocar con la palustra en la pared luego se deja secar un poco como 30 minutos y se pasa la esponja mojada para dar la textura y nivelar con el resto del friso.

Eso eso todo el trabajo a realizar, me falta la pintura eso lo realizaré el otro fin de semana aunque con 24h de secado basta para pintar.
